Training has moved into an online experience, and yet still companies provide over 70% of the training in house or as Instructor Led Training (ILT).  This approach is very much supported, but materials must be available for reference and review if training retention levels are going to meet the correct levels, ensuring end user knowledge reaches its peak, and new comers can be provided with quick, insightful and immediate training to inhibit bad habits forming when under the pressure of a new role.

The traditional annual physical exam, or "periodic health evaluation," delivers preventive care and decreases worry for patients, and confirms the appropriate course to maintain or increase health.  The same can be said regarding your learning initiative, delivery mechanisms and end user learning requirements and retention scales.  

Onsite Learning Review And Evaluation

Enterprise e-learning technologies can be quite complex. Often it is hard to know if you have utilized the best tools in the market place, or the best technology infrastructure to host/deliver or manage your Learning Environments.

This service highlights and recommends paths for improvement, pointing out key pressure points, strengths/weaknesses of your system(s)…..and provides you with the knowledge, and guidance to align your technology with your learning initiatives and can provide you and your Learning System with a Certificate of Health!

An onsite with one of our consultants will provide you with the following initial service, combined with a tailored post site visit report, which can be used as a foundation to enable us to assist you in enhancing your training initiative, or as guidelines for you to move forward at your own pace.

    1. Kick-off meeting: Identify key personnel leading the current Learning Initiative. Understand and collate information regarding the learning systems that are currently in place. [This would require a demonstration by the client of the current learning environment
    2. Learning Initiative Show & Tell: Understand the avenues of learning you’d like to explore and or need to enhance as part of your learning initiative
    3. Delivery Mechanism Show & Tell: As with any health check, it is necessary to understand the network/traffic/loads placed on any system to ensure optimal learning. Often Infrastructure is enhanced for one project, and other systems dovetail or steal the bandwidth limiting your training systems.
    4. End User Show & Tell: Create our consultant an example user id within your training environment and we will sit and review your online learning. Enable them to analyze independently your systems, after all any new recruit will be at the cutting edge of your learning.
Deliverables
Our consultant will prepare a Learning Alignment summary report of your existing system, and highlight where the typical learning system’s statistics meet industry standards, and supply a brief overview of the key areas that can be enhanced.

$8,995, plus travel related expenses (at cost). This package includes up to two days onsite, as necessary. For additional days, please add days using the optional travel package.
 

In a more in depth and analytical assessment, a four day study will be carried out, this package includes up to two days onsite, as necessary, plus a further 16 hours of online meetings or telephone meetings to provide an in-depth analysis of your learning Initiatives.

This program is recommended if you are not meeting your learning objectives as an organization and need to jump start your learning goals, as well as further understand the company’s requirements for staff.

Using an evaluation worksheet that can be filled out by team members you will start to define your key initiatives.

We will tally the results and summarize team reactions (based on your own needs) for benefit of the entire team, and create a presentation that will highlight your goals, departmental and/or global requirements.

Utilizing these results, we will structure a presentation; providing an overview of the Learning approach best suited to your organization.

The Report will include a list of application types, approaches, and recommended vendors.
You can then take this report to carry out your own approach to building your initiative, or continue our service to short list and create use case scenarios for your learning choices.

Learning Delivery Mechanism

It doesn't matter how good your learning initiative looks on paper, even if it is implemented to specification.  If end users find the systems overall hard to understand, systems are slow to load or inaccessible due to bandwidth issues, your training initiative will not succeed. 

The end result can be is that despite large investments in development of training material, very often the delivery mechanism for online learning is overlooked.  Allow us to come onsite and evaluate your existing materials, carry out load balance testing and utilize our experience to reutilize your training materials, enhance your network infrastructure and tweak your delivery mechanisms.

End User Analysis

Once learning teams have met their project deliverables, it is necessary for that learning to be evaluated for its ability to train and educate your end users.  Often, training goals can be missed, when training becomes too verbose and when end users are not retaining the information contained within the training pieces, you despite, investing $$$ in your training programs still miss your initiative.. 

This extended package includes up to two days onsite, plus four online facilitated meetings to discuss with a cross section of your business users, globally if necessary if they are learning as a result of your training program.

We will provide you with analytical feedback on your end users experience using metrics and learning statistics we define the majority learning focus of your end users

We also provide you with a report that defines your end user reactions to the variety of different approaches to learning that your company facilitates. It will also support those who have been having difficulties with their learning, and provide a brief analysis and recommendations on where areas can be improved.

Either by Virtual Meeting or Onsite Visits, EscP Consultants can evaluate if Simulation Training for your applications is the right direction for your organization.  We will look at your application set, your training needs, your scope of end users, and the infrastructure available to you and provide a comparative analysis and the pros and cons of implementing a training environment via Simulation.  This service is offered in conjunction with Brandon Hall and Chapman Alliance and its Simulation Knowledge base matching technology and needs.
Its time to Think Outside the Box.  EscP provides consultancy and guidelines for creating storyboards and ensuring that Business Processes are captured effectively as an online learning process.  Looking at the key areas that learning must cover but also ensuring that the training doesn’t leave the attendee with unanswered questions. Individuals work and learn by interactively working within applications, think back to class room training, how many people sat playing with the application?? 
Duplicate learning areas or Sandbox environments is a costly overhead for most corporate organizations.  Is it time to remove your sandbox or training environment and use interactive simulations in classroom training?  EscP will analysis and document the training currently provided in the classroom and produce a report, and project plan which can be tailored to meet your training needs.

The next generation of Software education methodology is maturing, and Electronic Performance Support (EpSS) is a method to provide real time assistance within your application, either by selecting Help for automatic assistance or entering a value to search and find unique answers based upon your location in the application.  Allow EscP to guide you on how to best evaluate your applications and how to design and implement an EpSS roadmap for your applications and training.
